Step by Step Instructions for Making Bacon Cream Cheese Baked Spaghetti
STEP 1:
To make this bacon and cream cheese spaghetti, I started by dumping some milk, condensed cream of bacon soup, Philadelphia Whipped Chive cream cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder into a large pot on the stove.
I stirred all of the ingredients together well and then brought the liquid to a boil.
STEP 2:
Once the liquid was boiling, I broke some spaghetti noodles in half and added them to the pot.
I reduced the heat to medium-low and left the spaghetti to cook, stirring occasionally, for eight minutes.
STEP 3:
After eight minutes, I added some shredded mozzarella cheese and crumbled bacon to the pot.
I stirred well.
Then I dumped the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
STEP 4:
I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped chives on top of the spaghetti.
Then I sprinkled some crumbled bacon and on top of the cheese.
STEP 5:
I placed the dish in the oven and baked the spaghetti until the cheese on top was completely melted and just starting to brown around the edges.
I removed the dish from the oven and left the pasta to sit for a few minutes before serving.
This creamy spaghetti is packed with flavour.

What substitutions could I make?
- Condensed Cream of Bacon Soup: If you don’t have cream of bacon soup you could use cream of chicken instead.

- Real Bacon Bits: You can cook and crumble your own bacon if you prefer.
What should I serve with Bacon Cream Cheese Baked Spaghetti?
Bacon Cream Cheese Baked Spaghetti is a rich and savory dish, so you’ll want to balance it out with some lighter sides that complement its flavors. Here are some ideas:
- Green Salad: A simple green salad with a light vinaigrette or ranch dressing can provide a refreshing contrast to the richness of the baked spaghetti.
- Garlic Bread: A classic choice to serve alongside pasta dishes, garlic bread adds a crunchy texture and garlic flavor that pairs well with the creamy bacon spaghetti.
- Roasted Vegetables: Roasted vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, or Brussels sprouts can add some color, texture, and nutrients to the meal. The caramelization from roasting brings out their natural sweetness, which can complement the savory flavors of the spaghetti.
- Grilled Asparagus: Asparagus is another great option that pairs well with creamy pasta dishes. Grilling it adds a smoky flavor that can enhance the overall taste experience.
- Caprese Salad: A light and fresh Caprese salad made with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze can provide a nice contrast to the richness of the baked spaghetti.
