First of all- this site is FULL of complainers. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. 4.5 review for us. We loved our experience on this ship! We don’t expect 100% perfection. Here are our pros and cons:Pros- Beautiful clean new ship, spacious balcony room, comfy beds, OBSERVATION LOUNGE deck 15- with huge windows and drinks and snacks almost always available- and tons of seating- we

First Time Cruiser

This was my ninth cruise, after two on Disney, five on Royal Caribbean, and most recently one on Carnival just a few weeks back. Unfortunately, this cruise was just "fine" and I've canceled a future NCL cruise to book with another line. This is rare for me - usually I'm clamoring to book another cruise with the same line by the time I've disembarked. I was sailing solo for my birthday and because

My husband and I signed up for the Regatta cruise round trip out of Los Angeles. We’d sailed Celebrity in the Mediterranean and to Alaska twenty years ago and enjoyed those trips but weren’t yearning to cruise again. We’d heard from friends who sailed before the pandemic that Oceania had phenomenal food and wine service. Instead, we got great food at several meals, but mostly it was something I’d

Here is my review of our Regatta 12 day Alaska cruise embarking in Los Angeles on May 18th, 2023. Also some tips about the Ship that I have not read elsewhere on Cruisecritic. We have sailed several times to Alaska but this was our first voyage with Oceania. Overall we were impressed with the quality of the food and service. Embarkation was a breeze. We arrived at 2PM to no lines whatsoever.

I was last aboard Radiance in 2017 for a seven night cruise from Seward to Vancouver. She is aging well and remains a typical, classic cruise ship reminiscent of days gone by in comparison with the newer mega ships with dozens (or so it seems) of water slides which threatens to turn a cruise ship into a floating water-themed amusem*nt park with a few other venues thrown in for good measure. For

I’m usually not one to write reviews, and I’m usually a pretty easy going passenger. Things happen, mistakes are made, it’s never a big deal. But this most recent trip - 4 nights from LA to Vancouver - I was so disappointed!! Truly! We booked a mid balcony room (no complaints there, great as always) and we had the premium plus drink package. Drinks were great, food was alright (complimentary meals

We had the best time, the entire ship had a very helpful, friendly. professional and honest staff always ready to help and guide you. We would like to especially thank the wonderful floor staff at the Garden Cafe as they returned a very valuable item left in the restaurant. Great food in abundance with fabulous service from the restaurant team. The atmosphere is fun and joyful with tons of

We chose this cruise because we live in Southern CA and it was less travel to be on a cruise. We haven't gone for a number of years, for obvious reasons, and looked forward to the days at sea, port activities, and the destinations. The first afternoon on the ship, we went to the "app" to get dinner reservations for that night and found out that we did NOT have dinner (table or time) for the entire

4 generations of our family flew to Los Angeles from BC for a week in Disneyland. This cruise brought us home with amazing stops in San Francisco, Astoria and Victoria. We intended to use the cruise to recover from Disneyland but found that there was just too much to do on the ship and in port. We enjoyed one formal night which gave the little ones a chance to dress as a little gentleman (3 year

First cruise on Princess (all prior cruise experience has been Holland America). I was asked to accompany my sister and her husband on their first-ever cruise (they picked this one). Pacific Coastal cruise San Diego/San Francisco/Astoria, OR/Victoria/Vancouver, BC. I understand that for security reasons my full legal name - as on my Passport, etc. - must be available to Princess for TSA
